Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in women can begin at any stage of life. Commonly, some women will develop symptoms after pregnancy, labor, delivery, perimenopause, or post-menopause. Pelvic Floor Dysfunction can cause multiple symptoms, which may include pelvic pain or pressure, lack of bowel and bladder control, sporadic or persistent low back or hip pain, and dysfunction. Leona Ham
Physiotherapist and Yoga Therapy Instructor
Leona has been practicing as a physiotherapist since 2002 and received her yoga therapy certificate from the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute in 2018. She has combined her physiotherapy background, pelvic floor physiotherapy knowledge, and experience to create yoga therapy programs to cater to individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction and also those individuals at risk of developing pelvic floor dysfunction.
